BeLoved Hospice is proud to offer a unique program of intensive support for patients with many different types of cancers.
While hospice was originally formed with the intention of assisting cancer patients with pain and symptom management at the end of life, sadly, many cancer patients do not get the opportunity to experience the full breadth of the hospice program with many not getting to experience hospice at all. This is due, in part, to the likelihood that many oncology patients are actively seeking treatment or a cure for their cancer up to the final weeks and days of their life. Because of this, many end-stage cancer patients do not have the conversation with their providers about the benefits that hospice can offer.
BeLoved Hospice is proud to offer palliative radiation, in addition to enhanced treatments for pain and symptom management, to our Portland area cancer patients who qualify for this level of care.
The education, guidance and specialized clinical offerings provided under the Hospice Cancer Program supports BeLoved Hospice’s main goal of providing the patient the best quality of life possible.
